In a recent sighting, rapper Post Malone, also known as Austin Richard Post, was seen filming scenes for his upcoming movie, “Cash Truck,” in Los Angeles. He was joined by co-stars Jason Statham and Josh Hartnett, adding to the star power of the film directed by Guy Ritchie.
In the images, Post Malone appeared to be in character as a criminal, participating in an intense shootout scene. He was dressed in a black beanie, black and white button-up shirt, jeans, and black gloves, holding a handgun as he took aim. Despite being known for his music, Post Malone seemed to be embracing his new role with enthusiasm and was fully immersed in the action.
Jason Statham was also captured on set, portraying an armed truck driver. He confidently pointed his gun while wearing an all-black outfit with an eagle patch on one of the sleeves. Josh Hartnett, another cast member, was seen taking a break from filming and enjoying a stroll with a member of the film crew.
“Cash Truck” is a remake of the French film “Le Convoyeur” and features a star-studded cast, including Scott Eastwood, Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, and Laz Alonso.
The film promises to be action-packed and thrilling, and fans are excited to see Post Malone in this new role on the big screen.
It’s worth noting that Post Malone has other acting projects in the pipeline as well. He is set to make his debut in the upcoming film “Wonderland,” which is currently in post-production. Based on the novel by Robert B. Parker, the movie follows the story of Spenser as he investigates a murder and the surrounding rumors.
The film also stars Mark Wahlberg, Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger, Bookem Woodbine, Hope Wilson, James DuMont, and Winston Duke.
While Post Malone is making waves in the acting world, he continues to deliver outstanding performances in his music career. He notably stole the spotlight at the American Music Awards last November with a memorable stage performance.
