Cafu ‘2.0’ Vanderson, a Monaco star, addresses rᴜmors of a trade to Manchester United
Vanderson, a top player for AS Monaco, said he was flattered to be linked to Manchester United.
Several European media reports reported that the 22-year-old was close to finalizing a transfer to Old Trafford before the window closed. Although he often plays right defense, Vanderson has been shifted to play on the right side of the midfield this year.

Since Erik ten Hag’s arrival in the northwest, he has favored wingers. However, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future in doubt, ten Hag was once on the lookout for a right back. The former Crystal Palace player only just became a mainstay in the Dutch coach’s lineup, though, at the close of last season and the beginning of this one.
Even though United and Barcelona were both interested in signing Vanderson, the Brazilian forward expressed his gratitude for the attention while on international duty. He confirmed his commitment to Ligue 1 in an interview with Diario AS.

But right now, my entire attention is on Monaco.United has plenty of options at right back, but injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have created a little issue at left back. Jadon Sancho ‘set for showdown talks over Manchester United future’

The remark is still pinned to the top of Sancho’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter, so it’s not apparent if he plans to apologize.
Man United’s next Premier League game is September 16 against Brighton & Hove Albion, and Ten Hag must make a crucial choice over Sancho’s playing time in the following weeks.
While Ten Hag was apparently taken aback by Sancho’s words after the match at the Emirates Stadium, the coach reportedly still plans to give the youngster another chance.
It came as no surprise that the forward was left out of the most recent England team, as Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate clearly favors a different group of players in the attacking third.
Although Sancho made a good impression during preseason, he was only used as a substitute in Man United’s first three Premier League games before being benched for the match against Arsenal.
The attacker has struggled since joining the Red Devils from Dortmund in the summer of 2021, totaling just 12 goals and six assists in 82 games in all competitions.
Since Antony will be sidelined for a while as he deals with the abuse claims against him, the return of Sancho to the fold should provide him a chance to reclaim his starting position on the right side of the аttаck.
