The 34-year-old, Chiefs star took Kansas City by storm once again on Saturday, this time to keep Super Bowl celebrations going – three months after the team’s second straight championship win – as he downed some Jim Beam in front of cameras and fans. He showed up a logo t-shirt for the event in jeans and a blue bucket hat.
The festival, which took place for the first-time last year, featured performances by Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Diplo and DJ Irie. More than 20,000 fans showed up for the one-day event, as the city continues to be on cloud nine over its back-to-back Super Bowl titles.
Before the show, Kelce greeted the crowd, as he shook hands and handed out free Wingstop to hungry festival goers.
Onstage he joined Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz for a surprise performance of ‘Duffle Bag Boy’ which Kelce previously told The Hollywood Reporter is a song that remains on his ‘game day’ playlist.
Mahomes and Kelce also combined – like they do on the field – with a performance of ‘All I Do Is Win’ with 2 Chainz.
‘Everybody! It’s my dog, Pat Mahomes!’ Kelce screamed into the microphone.
‘Kansas City! How we feeling out there tonight? Are we gonna turn up at Kelce Jam or what?! Let me hear’ the Chiefs quarterback said, adding: ‘We love you! We wanted to let you all know that back-to-back [Super Bowl championships isn’t good enough… You know what were going for? Three of ’em!’
Kelce even showed off one of the Chiefs’ Vince Lombardi trophies to fans, at one point in the evening.
He signed a two-year, $34.25 million in April, making him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.
Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, was spotted backstage, enjoying the experience just days after she appeared on Sports Illustrated’s red carpet for the magazine’s swimsuit edition with Olivia Dunne and Paige Spiranac.
Kelce also tossed Uncrustables, his favorite game-day snack, to fans as he revealed that the sealed crustless sandwiches are his favorite game-day snack.
His party animal antics come just a day after he returned from the U.S. to Europe. Kelce spent the last two weeks with Swift for part of the European leg of her sold-out ‘Eras Tour’.
He previously traveled to several countries to support the popstar while she was on tour, including in Argentina, Australia, and Singapore.
Kelce, who admitted to feeling like an ‘amateur’ on stage earlier this month, will more than likely return overseas to spend time with Swift over the course of the summer, as she does not have an extended break from touring until late August.
After that, Swift’s calendar clears up just in time for the start of the 2024 NFL season, as her next show is not until November 14 in Toronto.
The Chiefs’ schedule will make it possible for the singer to be at up to 14 regular-season games based on her North America tour dates.
Swift’s near-two-year tour wraps up on December 8 in Vancouver.
Kelce and Swift spent the last few days together in Italy, as they went on a romantic Lake Como boat ride before her shows in Sweden.
