The singer, 34, who is back on stage in Liverpool on Thursday night, let her hair down at Argentinean restaurant Casa Cruz alongside a new posse of girlfriends.
Taylor was joined by Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, Andrew Scott and Phoebe Waller Bridge while old pals Cara Delevingne and Lena Dunham, who both live in London, also joined the party.
Completing the lineup was Taylor’s close pals, Haim sisters Este and Danielle and music legend Chrissie Hynde.
Taylor looked gorgeous in a black corset layered under a tailored grey coat and accessorised with a clock choker necklace, which she previously wore to the Grammys in a nod to her album Midnights.
She finished off her look with towering heels in a deep red to match her lipstick shade.
Kate, 50, wowed in a white satin pencil skirt and matching blazer for the plush dinner, finishing her look with fishnets and platform heels.
Stella MCartney was the designer of choice for the night out, with Taylor, Phoebe and Cara all sporting picey looks from their mutual friend.
Taylor’s moulded corset costs £1150, while her pinstripe wool coat is £1,509.
Phoebe matched Taylor’s style in a £2,065 camel coat from Stella layered over a head-to-toe black look, beaming as she left the restaurant in a black cab with her Fleabag co-star Andrew, who couldn’t stop smiling after the fun night out.
Andrew is a good friend of Taylor’s ex boyfriend Joe Alwyn with the two’s Tortured Man Club group chat alongside Paul Mescal believed to have inspired the title of Taylor’s latest record, The Tortured Poets Department, a claim which Andrew has since downplayed.
The actor has previously revealed he texts Taylor, gushing recently that he messaged the star to congratulate her on TTPD, gushing: ‘I think she is just a force of nature, just an extraordinary human, and this album is really, really amazing.’
The singer meanwhile is an outspoken fan of Andrew’s pal Phoebe, having first met when Phoebe hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in 2019 where Taylor was the musical guest.
Back in 2020 Taylor wrote a letter in support of the writer for the Time’s 100 list of the most influential people.
Cara left Tuesday’s dinner her singer girlfriend Minke and Stella as well as Stella’s daughter Bailey Linda Olwyn Willis, 17, giggling as they piled into a car together.
Model Cara and designer Stella matched in £1,790 Teddy biker jackets from Stella’s line for the dinner at Casa Cruz, which is described as an ‘intimate, warm and elegant neighbourhood restaurant tucked into the leafy streets of London’s Notting Hill’.
Taylor and co could have chosen to dine on the likes of a 250g beef fillet steak for £50 or a 1.2kg côte de boeuf would have cost £140, making it the most expensive dish on the menu.
The restaurant is where Rita Ora hosted her lockdown flouting 30th birthday bash in November 2020.
While the others are new friends of Taylor’s, Cara has been a close companion of the star in recent years.
Taylor and Cara are regularly seen out and about with mutual friends Selena Gomez and Blake Lively in the singer’s home city of New York, but it appears Brit model Cara has introduced her old friend to a new London-based set of friends.
Last week Taylor made a secret dash visit to watch Cara perform in her West End show Cabaret, before heading to Edinburgh for her first UK gigs.
In a montage of snaps on her social media, Cara shared a photo of herself and Taylor wrapping their arms around each other as they posed in her dressing room, with the singer showing her love for mutual pal Stella by wearing a £1,324 blue sweater from the designer.
Taylor and Cara are regularly seen hanging out together, most recently at a Kansas City Chiefs game in Buffalo, New York, where Taylor was supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Cara previously shared her support for Taylor and Travis, speaking at the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, saying: ‘I’m so so happy for her. There’s definitely something very different about them. I’m always rooting for my girl.’
Lena Dunham is another old friend of Taylor’s, with the singer one of Lena’s bridesmaids at her 2021 London wedding to Luis Felber.
The two first interracted over a decade ago with Lena tweeting her praise for Taylor’s album Red in 2012, gushing it was ‘triumphant … If she’d been here when I was in college I would have written papers on her, not Sylvia Plath.’
Taylor responded by declaring her love for Lena’s show Girls, then in its first season, writing ‘you made my day with that. I’m now going to sit in my dressing room reciting my fav @girlsHBO quotes.. Which is all of them.’
Taylor wrapped up her three night run at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on Sunday, kicking off the UK leg of her huge Eras tour.
The singer told fans she was ‘blown away’ by the experience, writing an emotional Instagram caption filled with gratitude for her fans and declaring her love for all 220,000 of them.
The singer penned: ‘Edinburgh!!! You truly blew me away this weekend. Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland 3 times in a row and for all the ways you made us feel right at home.
Next up for Taylor is Liverpool. One of the most musical cities in the world is gearing up to transform itself into a Taylor Swift themed wonderland to welcome the pop superstar.
More than 150,000 swifties from far and wide will descend on Liverpool for her three sold-out stadium shows at Anfield, taking place between June 13 and 15.
The Northern city, often dubbed the birthplace of pop, will morph into ‘Taylor Town’ from June 8 to celebrate the singer with a series of art installations inspired by some of her most iconic musical moments.
The undisputed Queen of pop is set to boost the British economy by almost £1 billion, a new report has revealed.
Researchers have calculated each Swiftie attending an Eras concert in the UK will spend on average £848 to see their idol perform.
The total is more than 12 times the average £67 cost of a UK night out and the Chancellor can expect a £997 million boost to the economy thanks to Taylor’s 15 tour dates this summer.
From Selena Gomez to Blake Lively, Taylor Swift is never short of a friend to head to dinner to back home in the US.
Over the years the singer her built up a loyal posse of friends from models to actresses, to collaborators in the world of music.
So who exactly is in Taylor’s squad? And how did she form these friendships? MailOnline takes a look at the stars who have formed Taylor’s A-list circle.
While it’s not clear exactly when they first met, Taylor, 33, revealed she was friends with Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, 36, in 2015 when she shared a snap of the pair hanging out at the Warner Bros. Movie World theme park in Queensland during the Australian leg of Taylor’s 1989 tour.
At the time, Blake had been married to Ryan Reynolds, 46, for three years and they’d welcomed their first daughter James the year before.
Blake welcomed their second child, daughter Inez, in September 2016 and nearly three years later, the married pair secretly welcomed a third daughter named Betty in October 2019 but they did not reveal her name publicly at the time.
It was not until the summer of 2020 that the parents gave Taylor the honor of revealing their daughter’s moniker to the world through her song Betty.
The hit was featured on her eighth studio album Folklore. Fans quickly put the pieces together after hearing the names of Blake and Ryan’s other two daughters in the song.
Ryan previously revealed that their children had no clue Taylor was famous after growing up with her in their lives.
He admitted on Sirius XM: ‘I think what’s most exciting for them is that for the longest time they just thought Taylor’s just like an aunt, like a friend of Mommy and Daddy that’s very, very close, almost family.
‘And then they went to a concert one day and were like, ‘Ohhhhh, this isn’t a hobby.”
In an unlikely turn of events, Taylor became friends with Sophie Turner, 27, in 2019, who had then just tied the knot with her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas.
The ladies bonded while sharing a sofa on The Graham Norton show, where Sophie was quizzed about her recent Vegas marriage to Joe and Taylor discussed her new single Me!
In recent weeks, however, their friendship seems to have ramped up and The Mail on Sunday understands that Tyalor has become an increasing support to the British actress after the end of her four-year marriage to Joe turned sour last month.
Of their alliance, a friend said: ‘Taylor and Sophie may not have been seen together much over the years but there has been a friendship there. However, once Taylor realised what Sophie was going through she wanted to lend her a shoulder to cry on.
‘Taylor isn’t silly though. She is absolutely aware that if the two of them are seen together it will attract a lot of attention and a lot of column inches. And the fact that their moniker ‘Saylor’ has now been coined means that they have become a thing.’
As well as indicating to the world that she is backing Sophie, Taylor’s intervention will be somewhat embarrassing for Joe, because he briefly dated her in 2008 when she was 18, before he reportedly broke up with her in a brief phone call.
She went on to pen several break-up songs thought to be about him, including Forever and Always, Mr Perfectly Fine, Better Than Revenge and Last Kiss. They have long since made amends, however.
Disney star Sabrina Carpenter made no secret of the fact she was inspired by Taylor when she began her singing career, making her very first YouTube video in 2009 a cover of Taylor’s Picture to Burn.
In a 2020 interview with Apple Music, Sabrina revealed Taylor’s album Folklore inspired her own music.
She revealed: ‘Taylor Swift posted something when she released her new album in the description of when it dropped and saying like, ‘I usually would overthink the songs that I’m going to put out and release. And I just feel like nothing is certain right now and so it just felt right and I wanted to do it.’
‘And that put me in such a good warm-hearted place where then I could listen to all these songs that I’ve been making with such a fresh perspective of like, ‘You know what, this is how I feel right now in musical form.”
The following year, Sabrina found herself on the invite list when Taylor sent a bunch of celebrities care packages to mark the release of her Red (Taylor’s Version) album.
They were then spotted hanging out at several parties and music awards together before Taylor made Sabrina’s ‘dreams come true’ by choosing her to open for her on the international leg of her Eras tour.
She tweeted: ‘Sweet angel princess @sabrinacarpenter will be joining us on all of the shows!’ Swift wrote on social media at the time.’
Sabrina responded: ‘trying to process this but alas i shant CANT WAIT TO JOIN THE ERAS TOUR IN LATIN AMERICA thank u @taylorswift u the 1 :’) this is a dream come true.’
The pair first crossed paths in 2008 when Taylor was seeing Joe Jonas and Selena was linked to Nick Jonas and they ended up becoming close pals as a result.
Since then, the duo have attended many red carpets, many award shows, and celebrated a number of birthdays together.
Selena has also made surprise appearances at Taylor’s concert tours including Speak Now and Reputation.
Selena even accidentally started a temporary feud with her friend Francia Raisa after she called Taylor her ‘only friend in the industry’ during an interview with Rolling Stone.
Francia, who donated a kidney to Selena, was apparently upset with Selena, though the Wizards Of Waverly Place star later clarified that she was referring to the music industry, which didn’t mean that Francia couldn’t still be a good friend in the film and television industry.
Gigi Hadid is another one of Taylor’s close friends, with the pair first photographed together in March 2014 at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party alongside Ireland Baldwin and Jaime King.
Shortly after, Gigi made an appearance in Taylor’s star-studded music video for Bad Blood as ‘Slay Z’ before making an appearance on stage at the 1989 World Tour.
The pair regularly hang out together in New York while Gigi is also a regular guest at Taylor’s iconic July 4th parties.
In a 2017 profile on Gigi in Harper’s Bazaar, Taylor gushed of her friend:
‘Gigi is one of the first people I go to for advice. She has this incredible ability to see all sides of a situation and simplify it for you, to see the complexity of people.’
She added, ‘Gigi’s #1 rule is to treat people the way she’d want to be treated, so she’s on time (or early) to work, says hello to everyone on set, asks them how they are, and actually listens to their response.’
Lena Dunham struck up a friendship with Taylor in 2012 when she tweeted her love of the Red album, prompting Taylor to gush over her TV show, Girls.
They met in person the following year at the Grammys and got so close that Taylor served as bridesmaid in Lena’s wedding to musician Luis Felber.
There was no awkwardness when Lena broke up with musician Jack Antonoff, who Taylor has worked with on several collaborations.
She attended his wedding to Margaret Qualley in August and recently gushed that she and Jack ‘will continue making music until 2089.’
