Universal Pictures continues to give Fast X film one last marketing push before it premieres in theaters worldwide later this week. Fans are ready to strap in to see the end of the journey for the Fast Family as this week will mark the conclusion to the saga.
In the past two decades, Vin Diesel‘s Dominic Toretto has led the storyline for the franchise, giving fans a heavy dose of the Fast & Furious lifestyle. A new trailer releases just days ahead of the global premiere, pinpointing how Dom will protect his family at all costs from Jason Momoa‘s vengeful character. In the new snippet, Momoa’s Dante swears to take revenge on Dom’s family stating, “Dominic Toretto, you destroyed my family. Now you’re going to have to watch who you love most die.” The statement is met with a series of adrenaline-fuelled sequences that see Dom’s son and other members of his family in the direct line of fire. In one scene, Dom’s son is screaming for help in the passenger seat of Dante’s car.
Momoa joins the cast as a new face, however his character has long been linked to the plot. Dante is the son of kingpin Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), who played a central role until his death in Fast Five.
Fast X drives into theaters on May 19. Watch the new teaser below.
