One of the most famous couples in the world are still going strong, over a year after going public with their romance when Swift sat with Donna at a Chiefs game in September 2023.
Speaking in New York on Tuesday night as she attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, she was asked if her youngest son is planning a proposal anytime soon. And she didn’t directly rule it out.
‘Nobody knows that,’ she said to Page Six. ‘We will see what happens. You never know.’
But Donna insisted she does not give Travis or Jason advice when it comes to relationships.
She continued: ‘I don’t give my kids advice. They have everything all settled. They’re far more able to make those decisions on their own.’
Donna has watched many Chiefs games with Swift since that September day last year and speaking to Entertainment Today, she reflected on getting to know the singer.
‘She’s always a gem and a trooper and I think she likes football,’ Donna said with a laugh.
‘It’s so loud at Arrowhead Stadium it’s amazing. The passion the fans have, it’s one of the meanest places I’ve ever been. I really enjoy it.’
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis turned 35 on Saturday and celebrated with his family around him while he hosted his ‘Car Jam’ charity event in the city, raising money for his ’87 and Running’ Foundation.
Swift didn’t join him on his big day but she was back at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday evening to cheer him on in action against New Orleans Saints.
‘I think she was a little busy with some of her concerts coming up, she needs to practice and stuff,’ Donna explained. ‘But she was definitely there for the game.’
Kelce and his team recorded a 23-16 win on Monday night, extending their winning start to the season to 5-0.
They are now on a bye week and return to action on Oct. 20 against San Francisco 49ers.
Swift, meanwhile, resumes her Eras Tour in Miami next week on a run of dates that finishes up in Canada in December.
