Thieves recently hit the homes of Mahomes and Kelce
Thieves recently hit the homes of NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, making off with high-value Super Bowl memorabilia, jewelry, and luxury items. Both burglaries occurred within a day of each other, targeting the homes of the Kansas City Chiefs teammates, who have each helped secure multiple Super Bowl wins.
The first break-in took place at Mahomes’ property in Belton, Missouri, shortly after midnight on October 6. Police were dispatched following reports of a forced entry, arriving around 00:08 to find the home had been ransacked.

Sources close to the players disclosed that both families were stunned by the coordinated burglaries. The thieves reportedly took some of Mahomes’ prized collectibles, including jerseys and awards, as well as jewelry and designer items belonging to his wife, Brittany.
“That was a massive surprise for all of them, as they really never thought it would happen to them,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
“That was a very, very frustrating moment, and both Kelce and Mahomes got really mad it happened, and that intruders got into their properties that they consider their ‘safe-haven’ and ‘safe place’ as they are always under the spotlights and always traveling.
“The Mahomes got really angry as Brittany felt really bad that people got into their privacy, into their private spaces, and felt really bad about it for a bit.
“That really bothered them a lot, especially her, as she always wants her safe space and her family and kids to be in the safest places 24/7, and home is their sanctuary in the middle of the super active life they have.”
Less than 24 hours later, Kelce’s home in Leawood, Kansas, was also targeted, just before the Chiefs were set to play a Monday Night Football game.
Kelce, too, suffered significant losses, with jewelry valued at approximately $100,000 among the stolen items.
While Mahomes expressed disappointment and frustration about the incident, Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was reportedly also affected by the upsetting news. Police are actively investigating both break-ins, though they have not yet released further details.
“Travis got upset as they stole some important items, including his first Super Bowl jersey, and to have someone get into his private home is something he really got uncomfy about,” the source added.
“[Swift] felt bad for what happened despite not having many belongings there, but felt bad for her man and for the Mahomes.”
