Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is “feeling good” after being part of a car accident Wednesday morning, Head Coach John Harbaugh said.
Harbaugh described the accident, which happened as Andrews was driving to the Under Armour Performance Center for training camp, as “pretty significant.”
Harbaugh said he got a text message Wednesday morning saying Andrews was OK. Andrews was evaluated by medical staff at the Under Armour Performance Center and later joined team meetings.
Andrews is expected to return to practice in the coming days.
“If Mark’s OK, I’m OK,” Harbaugh said.
“You know what I would say about that? Wear your seat belts. Mark wore his seat belt. That was an accident that happened, and it was pretty significant I believe. And he came out of it with nothing at all – not a scrape. So, wear your seat belts. We’re thankful to God for that, for him coming out of that safe, and for God protecting him in that circumstance.”
