Analyst Proposes Tutu Atwell as Swift Addition for Dolphins Offense
The Miami Dolphins are eyeing a potential addition to their roster that could further enhance their already speedy offense. As the team prepares for the 2025 NFL free agency period, one analyst from Bleacher Report is suggesting they consider signing Tutu Atwell, a wide receiver currently with the Los Angeles Rams.
Atwell, who stands at 5’9” and weighs 165 pounds, is known for his impressive speed, clocking a 4.32-second 40-yard dash during his pre-draft workouts in 2021. The Dolphins have built their offense around speed since head coach Mike McDaniel took over, and they already feature standout players like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Adding Atwell could provide the Dolphins with a reliable third receiving option, alleviating some pressure from their top two wideouts.
The Dolphins’ current running back group, which includes Raheem Mostert and rookie De’Von Achane, is also among the fastest in the league. However, the team could benefit from a consistent third receiver to stretch the field and create additional scoring opportunities.
While signing Atwell could push rookie Malik Washington out of the offensive rotation and special teams roles, the Dolphins may see the potential upside as worth the risk. With plenty of time before free agency opens, the prospect of an even faster Dolphins offense is certainly an intriguing one.
