The Baltimore Ravens amazing season came to a close on Sunday after their offense manages to score just 10 points against the Kansas City Chiefs who are now back in the Super Bowl. The most crucial play for the Ravens on offense came with Zay Flowers fumbling the ball on the inch yard line when trying to reach for a touchdown to close the gap to a three point game. Instead the Chiefs got the ball on the 20 yard line and never looked back.

The rookie receiver almost had one of the best games any rookie receiver had in a playoff game if not for that crucial fumble that completely changed the game. The Chiefs did not score in the second half and punted the ball on every one of their drives, the Baltimore offense simply could not score, and this play was the the perfect highlight, or lowlight, to show how the game went.
Flowers has had strong statements after the game highlighting his mental toughness and how he will not let this one play define him. He is a rookie and has a long career of success ahead of him if he can turn the page to next season. He was quoted saying:
“I feel like I’ve got another step. I feel like I could be one of the best receivers in this league,” Flowers said. “I’m not going to let one moment define me. I’ll just use that as a slingshot.”
These are great quotes from a young player who easily could be down in the dumps after that game, but he is saying this is just a pull back for him to fly, like a slingshot. This is just going to be motivation to take things to the next level.

While the fumble completely derailed the Ravens from having a chance, they would not have even had a slight chance in that game without the play of Zay Flowers. No one else on their offense had even a solid game, as Lamar Jackson’s best play came with catching his own ball. Mark Andrews was a non factor and their urn game which was the bets in the league was no where to be found.
He had 115 yards and the teams only touchdown. What is even more crazy is that was the first time Flowers fumbles in his career, it just came at thee worst possible moment. Flowers told reporters that he
“learn from my mistakes.” The next day, Flowers said he had “a great time” this season.
When asked when he’ll turn the page to next season, Flowers declared that he “already did.”
