Both highly sought-after actors in the industry have shared screens recently. With a brief scene in the 2022 DC movie “Black Adam.” Given their popularity and the diverse range of projects they have been involved in, it was assumed the superhero movie would do good business. But sadly, that was not the case.
Dwayne Johnson, also known as “The Rock,” started his career as a professional wrestler before transitioning into acting. He has achieved significant success in both arenas, becoming one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood.

Henry Cavill on the other hand, is a British actor who gained prominence for his portrayal of Superman in the DCEU films. Including “Man of Steel,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” and “Justice League.” He is recognized for his chiseled good looks, acting ability, and dedication to his roles.
In a mid-credit scene of Johnson’s Black Adam movie, Cavill reprised his role of Superman in a cameo appearance. While the scene was short, it caught the attention of fans all over the world. Similarly, The Rock also featured in the mid-credit scene of the recently released “Fast X” movie. Dwayne officially made his return to the franchise with that appearance, reprising the role of “Inspector Hobbs.”

Henry Cavill was officially bought back by the DCEU to reprise the role of Superman. In fact, his cameo scene with Dwayne Johnson in Black Adam was a lead-up to the next Superman movie in the future. Moreover, a thing that is definitely similar between Johnson and Cavill is they both are no longer a part of the DC Universe. Ever since James Gunn took over control of the new DCU, he has been making some major changes to the franchise. And has removed many actors including the two heading forward.
Similar to Cavill, Dwayne was also brought back to the Fast and Furious franchise as a boost because the Fast X movie was not projected to do well. However, despite Dwayne being in it, the movie took reportedly took a 65.7% drop and earned only $23,020,000 on its second weekend.
