In the 12 months since having the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer on his arm, Kelce has skyrocketed to become one of the most famous people on the planet.
Even with Kelce’s gridiron dominance, he will turn 35 in the middle of the upcoming NFL season, where he will be an integral part of a possible Kansas City Chiefs three-peat.
There is no doubt Kelce is in the back-half of his NFL career, and based on how he is positioning himself outside football, he knows it too.
He has an estimated wealth of $40million but he’s working hand to grow that number significantly. Here is how Kelce is building up a portfolio worth millions off the field to where he can stay as successful as he is now.
Travis and Jason Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast
Before Swift came into Kelce’s life in a romantic way, he started hosting a podcast with fellow future NFL Hall of Famer and older brother Jason Kelce.
The first ‘New Heights’ episode dropped in 2022 and has consistently gained viewership since.
It was on ‘New Heights’ where Travis said he tried to give Swift his number after an ‘Eras Tour’ show in Kansas City. Since then, football fans and Swifties alike have made ‘New Heights’ one of the biggest podcasts in the world.
Last month, it was reported that the Kelce brothers were in talks Amazon-owned podcast network Wondery about potentially securing a $100million agreement for their weekly program.
Possibly taking ‘New Heights’ on the road has also been discussed as a possibility.
Kelce’s successful music festival drawing bigger names
The tight end’s music festival, ‘Kelce Jam’, was a one-off event this year in the Kansas City area with headliners Lil Wayne and Diplo making it successful.
In future years, the plan is for the extravaganza to go on the road with eyes on holding shows in Indianapolis, Chicago, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Miami.
Kelce would not have to look far for advice on how to make a concert successful.
If only he was dating someone who could sell out a concert anywhere on planet Earth…
Kelce, the game show host
The plan might not be for Kelce to only be in front of cameras in regards to football or his podcast.
Kelce was announced as the host of Amazon Prime’s ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’, a spinoff of former Fox game show ‘Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?’.
A 20-episode season with Kelce hosting debuts on the platform on Oct. 16, which coincidentally, falls near the Chiefs bye week.
Celebrities expected to participate in the series include Nikki Glaser, Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer and Ron Funches, NFL analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick, and former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco.
Kelce enters the world of serious acting
Starring alongside Nicey Nash-Betts and Lesley Manville, Kelce will play a role in the FX drama series ‘Grotesquerie’, which is set to debut next month.
Kelce’s role on the show has not been confirmed, but he is set to appear in all 10 episodes of the first season.
He briefly appears in the trailer for the show and talked about his experience on set during an episode of ‘New Heights’.
‘It’s been so much fun,’ Kelce said. ‘I feel like a jabroni, I feel like an amateur, but I haven’t gotten fired yet. They haven’t told me to f**king kick rocks after the first week.’
Adam Sandler also announced this week that Kelce is set for a cameo appearance in Happy Gilmour. The revelation came hours after reports surfaced that Kelce is in talks to star in Action Comedy ‘Loose Cannons’.
Kelce enters entrepreneurial endeavor in golf
Kelce has reportedly been in talks to invest $8million to build golf courses in the USA, Caribbean, and Europe.
He’s an avid golfer and has appeared in a few celebrity tournaments over the years.
The golf project Kelce will be involved with reportedly will spend $140million over the next five years building courses.
Last month, Jason Kelce joined his younger brother for the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, in Nevada.
Kelce also paired with close friend and Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes to defeat former Golden State Warriors duo Steph Curry and Klay Thompson during one iteration of ‘The Match’.
Teaming up with Mahomes, Olivia Dunne
Mahomes and Kelce also plan to open a steakhouse in Kansas City next year called ‘1587 Prime’, in reference to their jersey numbers.
It will be both gridiron star’s first foray into the hospitality industry, with a slated opening of early 2025.
Alongside LSU gymnast and social-media sensation Olivia Dunne, Kelce is a brand ambassador for the energy drink, Accelerator.
The two promoted the drink several weeks back by trying out elements of each other’s sports.
Jason and Travis also investing in beer
The Kelce brothers have enjoyed drinking with their time in the spotlight, with the iconic shot of Jason shirtless in a Buffalo luxury suite during the Bills-Chiefs playoff game from last season being a noteworthy example.
The brothers have also reportedly invested in independent beer brand Garage Beer.
The Kelce’s have become the largest investors in the fast-growing brand owned by the Braxton Brewing Corporation in Kentucky.
Their involvement makes the first time they are significant owners and operators of a business as partners.
Travis’ future moves
With how widespread Kelce has cast his non-football net, anything is possible for his future.
One career venture we will not know about for Kelce until after he retires is how he will stay around the game, because lots of big-money offers will come his way.
It is a matter of how, not if, he accepts a broadcast position, and if that is alongside brother Jason at ESPN.
There is no doubt Kelce has a few more years left in the NFL to decide that path.
