After winning his second MVP last season, Lamar Jackson received high praise from his peers.
The top 10 of the NFL Top 100 was announced Friday, and Jackson ranked No. 2, trailing only the Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill.
The rankings are based solely off the 2023 season, when Jackson led the Ravens to the best record in the NFL and was dominant all season. He finished with 29 total touchdowns, a career-high 3,678 passing yards, and led the Ravens with 821 rushing yards.
Jackson ranked No. 72 in last season’s Top 100, largely because injuries sidelined him down the stretch the previous year. He made one of the biggest jumps in this year’s rankings. After Jackson won his first MVP, he ranked No. 1 heading into the 2020 season.
Five Ravens made the top 100, with Jackson followed by Roquan Smith (19), Kyle Hamilton (43), Derrick Henry (49), and Justin Madubuike (61).
This is Jackson’s fifth consecutive season making the NFL Top 100. He was No. 24 in 2021 and No. 36 in 2022.
