LeBron James and Steph Curry were once tagged by the media as eternal enemies as their rivalry dominated the league. However, the rivalry took a back seat when they teamed up for the first time in their career on the national team. Unsurprisingly, they were victorious, however, their closeness took a lot of people by surprise.
On an episode of ‘The TK Show,’ NBA insider Sam Amick narrated a story about how LeBron James’ camp developed an animosity toward Steph Curry. The bone of contention was how King James’ camp felt intimidated by reports that Curry’s rise to stardom would affect James’ standing among the NBA community.
Their camps didn’t always love the way that the other player was talked about. LeBron’s people did not love it when people started calling Steph the best player in the world, and there was a tension that was real.
