The stadium, which hosts the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Hurricanes, and is set to be a venue for the 2026 World Cup, sustained substantial damage. According to Pro Football Network, venue officials reported major vandalism, including significant damage to an escalator at the 72 Club entrance, reportedly at the hands of fans supporting Argentina and Colombia.
