Odell Beckham Jr., the new wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, has been placed on the active/physically unable to perform list as training camp begins, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. While it’s unclear if Beckham is currently injured, there are reports he’s addressing some minor issues, with the team opting to bring him back gradually.
Despite expectations that he would join the team’s initial practice on Wednesday, Beckham did not participate in the Dolphins’ minicamp and will also miss the start of training camp. Dolphins fans will need to wait longer to see him in action.
Beckham, who signed a one-year contract potentially worth $8.25 million with the Dolphins in May, has not yet had the opportunity to play alongside fellow receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Having missed the 2022 season due to a torn ACL, Beckham returned to play 14 regular season games with the Baltimore Ravens last year, during which he made 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
