Three-time Super Bowl champions Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs are expanding their horizons beyond the football field. The dynamic duo is bringing their winning spirit to the culinary world with the upcoming launch of 1587 Prime, a groundbreaking steakhouse in Kansas City.
Partnering with Noble 33, Mahomes and Kelce are set to open the doors to 1587 Prime in early 2025. This avant-garde steakhouse, named after the combined jersey numbers of the two athletes, promises an unforgettable dining experience that seamlessly blends modernity with homage to their sporting achievements.
Tosh Berman, co-founder of Noble 33, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Mahomes and Kelce, stating, “Working with Patrick and Travis has been incredible. As longtime supporters of our other restaurants, we worked together to combine their favorite elements of those experiences into what we developed for 1587 Prime.”
Located within the Loews Kansas City Hotel, 1587 Prime will occupy an expansive space spanning nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors. The restaurant will boast multiple private dining rooms, a spectacular meat display, and one of the largest wine collections in the state.
Immersive in its design, 1587 Prime will feature subtle nods to Mahomes and Kelce’s on-field triumphs, creating a unique atmosphere that reflects their journey to culinary excellence. Mahomes shared his excitement about the venture, stating, “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.”
Kelce echoed Mahomes’ sentiment, adding, “We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City.”
With its innovative concept and star-studded collaboration, 1587 Prime is poised to redefine the culinary landscape of Kansas City. Stay tuned for updates on the grand opening of this extraordinary steakhouse, where patrons can indulge in the finest cuisine while celebrating the legacy of two sports icons turned restaurateurs.
