Guy Ritchie, the acclaimed British director known for his crime movies, has reunited with Jason Statham for his latest film
Wrath of Man
. After directing
The Gentlemen
in 2019, Ritchie has decided to adapt the 2004 French thriller
Cash Truck
for his new project, which will be exclusively available on Amazon Prime Video starting from December 10th. This nonlinear crime story revolves around a mysterious security guard played by Statham and features multiple plot threads.
This is the first time that Ritchie has directed Statham after their collaboration in 2005’s crime story called Revolver. In the movie Wrath of Man, Statham’s character goes by the name H, which has no connection to the criminal mastermind from Line of Duty, as far as we can tell. The plot revolves around his application for a job at a company that specializes in transporting valuable cargo in armored trucks.
In Guy Ritchie’s latest action-packed film ‘Wrath of Man’, Jason Statham takes on the role of a security guard responsible for driving cash trucks. Although he initially passed his tests with only basic success, he impresses his new employers with his unexpected aptitude for handling violent confrontations. The movie also features talented actors such as Holt McCallany from ‘Mindhunter’, Scott Eastwood, Josh Hartnett, Niamh Algar, and Eddie Marsan.
During an interview, Ritchie spoke to Yahoo Entertainment UK about his unconventional approach to action and drama. He also talked about working with Statham and their upcoming project with Aubrey Plaza. Additionally, he admitted that he doesn’t feel qualified to tell the story of England’s Euro 2020 triumph.
