DAVID DE GEA had a romantic night with his wife, Edurne Garcia, as he made a surprise return to Manchester United.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been without a club ever since the Red Devils released him at the end of the previous season.

This week, SunSport exclusively learned that United are already considering bringing him back.
On Thursday, De Gea, 32, teased a return with two cryptic Twitter tweets.
Now, the Spaniard has demonstrated that he is still in the North West by enjoying a lunch date with his wife, Edurne Garcia.
De Gea shared a photo of himself and Edurne drinking champagne.
He captioned the photograph, “My date.”
Edurne also shared her own post, which included a quick video of the couple enjoying their post-meal coffee.
In the video, she wrote “Love you” and mentioned that they were dining in Manchester.
The happy pair married earlier this year.
Just a few months ago, United released long-serving goalkeeper David De Gea after 12 seasons.
De Gea was desperate to stay at Old Trafford and agreed to cut his weekly wage in half.
But United turned down that offer and even requested that he not join another team until substitute Andre Onana signed.
With Onana expected to miss up to eight games owing to Cameroon’s involvement in the African Cup of Nations, United have realized they may need him back.
And statistics indicate that United made a mistake by allowing De Gea to leave after Onana’s shaky start at Old Trafford.
With Onana ready to depart for Afcon, United’s goalkeeping options during this period would be Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton.
Bayindir also joined United from Fenerbache in the summer for a fee of £4.3 million.
