Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has lauded Taylor Swift for her personality and charisma as he insists that he and the team are ‘happy’ for her relationship with Travis Kelce prior to Kansas City’s second-round playoff game this weekend.
The 58 year old, who is also a part-founder of Major League Soccer since 1996 and the owner of FC Dallas – one of 30 teams in the league – had nothing but kind things to say about his star tight end dating the renowned songwriter in an interview with CNBC on Thursday.
‘I’ve had a chance to meet her at one of the many games that she’s attended this year, and she’s just as sweet as she can be,’ Clark revealed, adding that he also had the opportunity to see Swift play at Arrowhead Stadium twice during her ongoing Eras Tours.
Hunt also marveled at ‘the attention that’s been focused on the Chiefs’ since Swift and Kelce starting dating back in September
Hunt also raved at ‘the attention that’s been focused on the Chiefs’ since September, when Swift and Kelce started becoming an item, nothing that the franchise’s ‘female audience has grown leaps and bounds’ all due to what CNBC’s Jim Cramer called the ‘unplanned phenomenon.’
Hunt admitted that the Swift-NFL mania has followed since ‘they were just starting off dating’ and that the couple’s love for each other is ‘purely organic,’ denying all claims that the two are seen together purely for publicity purposes.
‘Oh, it’s a marketing stunt,’ Hunt recalled many NFL fans saying at the time. ‘But no,’ he argued, adding: ‘It’s very real. And as I said, the most important thing is we’re happy for the two to them.’
It remains unclear if Swift will travel to Buffalo from her $18million, seven-bedroom New York townhouse to see Kelce and his teammates take on the Bills in the AFC Divisional round matchup.

If she does attend Sunday’s game, then she might be in for a frosty reunion with potential brother-in-law, Jason, as he revealed that he might travel to upstate New York after his team – the Philadelphia Eagles – lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round.
In a bombshell report from Life and Style magazine last week, it was claimed that Swift doesn’t have the warmest relationship with Jason and his wife, Kylie, as they haven’t made her feel too welcome.
Swift and her beau are said to be ‘happy’ and ‘having a lot of fun’ together as the popstar braces for her Eras Tour to resume in Japan, next month.
The couple are ‘still seeing where their romance goes’ despite going from strength-to-strength, minus a first fight, for the last four months.
