Tyreek Hill has never been one to shy away from the spotlight, and this offseason has been no different. Aside from being one of the most dominant receivers of the decade, Hill has become an internet personality with a presence on platforms like X, Snapchat and Instagram.
Most recently, Hill used his Snapchat to send a public message to Odell Beckham Jr., alluding that the veteran wide receiver’s next landing spot is with the Miami Dolphins. Along with a photo of the two receivers, he wrote a confusing message stating “OBJ to Miami confirmed.”
While head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed that an offer had been extended, there has been silence ever since on Beckham’s end. Perhaps Hill knows something that we don’t, and the two parties are working toward a contract.
Beckham would round out a receiving room with Hill and former University of Alabama wideout Jaylen Waddle. After parting ways with Cedrick Wilson Jr. over the offseason, the Dolphins are searching for a playmaker who can become quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s third target.
While Braxton Berrios is listed as the third-string receiver, the speedy pass catcher will again be primarily utilized on special teams, spearheading the returning game.
Beckham comes off a one-year stint with the Baltimore Ravens, where he helped the team to the AFC Championship game, contributing 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 35 receptions. With an average of 16 yards per reception, Beckham could serve as a deep threat alongside Hill while Waddle takes over at X.
According to McDaniel, Beckham still has plenty of good football ahead of him, and that might just be with the Dolphins.
