Baltimore fans were not pleased with their home opener after the team blew a 10-point lead in the final ten minutes of the contest. The defeat moved last year’s AFC title contenders to 0-2, having lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
After the game, fans expressed their displeasure for their team outside M&T Bank stadium – with Humphrey being one of the targeted players.
‘Stay on that podcast bro,’ the fan yells while standing on the barricade. ‘You give more effort to your podcast than you do on the field’
‘Every time I turn around, 44, 44,’ the fan continued, referencing Humphrey’s jersey number. ‘Come on, hit them back bro. Lead by example, bro.’

Humphrey clocked in eight solo and two assisted tackles in the Ravens’ 26-23 loss – a step up to his two-tackle performance against Kansas City.
However, the disappointment came in the dying minutes with what became the Raider’s game-winning play. With Vegas knocking on the end zone, Gardner Minshew connected with Davante Adams for a touchdown.
Humphrey, guarding Adams, failed to defend the pass despite having the wide receiver within reach.
The fan in the viral clip went on to tell a staff member ‘Tell Marlon stay off that podcast. I’m being serious now.’
Another fan in the crown then called safety Beau Brade for a picture. The aforementioned heckler then says: ‘He say he bout to come over here,’ before the video cuts off.
The Ravens fanbase was not the only one expressing their disappointment early into the season. On September 8, Giants fans booed quarterback Daniel Jones after New York was steamrolled, 28-6, by the Vikings.
Infuriated Giants fans then burned their Jones jerseys in effigy in the parking lot of MetLife Stadium.
A fan was seen using non-stick spray to spread the flames over two of the quarterback’s jerseys on the asphalt.
Jones, who is in his second year of a four-year, $160million contract, heard boos coming from the over 80,000 people that made the trek out to the Meadowlands for Sunday’s season-opening contest.
Humphrey signed a five-year extension with Baltimore worth $97.5m in October 2020.
