Kelce hadn’t been to one of Swift’s Eras tour shows since his July 17 appearance in Gelsenkirchen, Germany show, and Swift paid homage to him multiple times during her show.
The “Down Bad” singer gave Swifties a look at her own “Love Story” with a sweet performance of “So High School,” which is widely believed to be about her football beau due to lyrics like “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle.”
According to videos shared on X (formerly Twitter) by eagle-eyed fans, Swift appeared to stare right at her boyfriend as she performed the single. Meanwhile, a beaming Kelce–who’s previously named The Tortured Poets Department track as one of his favorite Swift songs–was spotted dancing alongside Andrea and cheering in the Lucas Oil Stadium’s VIP area, per a fan video shared on TikTok. They also hugged at one point as they enjoyed the show together. While Andrea and Travis haven’t been spotted publicly spending time together, she and his mom Donna Kelce appear to be close, as they were were seen embracing in September during the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals game.
That wasn’t the only nod to Kelce during Swift’s Indianapolis show, as the singer also changed the lyrics to “Karma” to “Karma is guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me” – much to fans’ delight. Videos of the moment showed Swifties cheering during the shout-out, and Kelce was seen heading backstage towards the end of the song. The couple was later spotted leaving the Lucas Oil Stadium together.
As Swift nears the end of her global Eras tour, she opened up about her decision to have her final United States show in Indiana’s capital. “So we spent the entire year of 2024 taking the Eras Tour all over the world,” Swift told the crowd on Friday night. “We went to Australia, Asia and spent all our summer in Europe. And I remember thinking, you know, if we’re gonna end all of our US shows at one place, we’ve got to pick a place where the fans are so incredible, so dedicated, so generous, so passionate, so fun.”
Kelce hasn’t confirmed whether he’ll be attending Swift’s final Indiana show on Sunday, Nov. 3, but it’s likely there will be at least a few more Swelce sightings before the Eras tour wraps in Canada on Dec. 8.
