When will Fast X come to streaming?

It’s been confirmed that Fast X will be available to stream on Peacock from September 15, following its theatrical run, which started in May. It has also been available to rent or buy digitally from June 9 via platforms such as Prime Video, iTunes, and Vudu.

As per Universal’s exclusive streaming deal with Peacock, new movies must come to the platform within four months of release, so September is the latest month for it to drop. The digital release arrived just three weeks after Fast X dropped in cinemas.

As we said before, The Super Mario Bros Movie is a good example, given it’s also a Universal Pictures release. It’s the highest-grossing movie of the year so far, raking in more than $1.2 billion worldwide – and despite it being in cinemas at the time, it was made available for digital purchase or rental from select online retailers just 41 days after its premiere.
